BIOGRAPHY
Chanel Jackson is the CEO & Founder of the Omnipresent Agency. She is a marketing professional and former Afro-Tech panelist with years of Global Brand Marketing experience. A graduate of North Carolina A&T State University, Chanel has a diverse and extensive background that bridges Entertainment and Technology having worked at powerhouse brands including STARZ, Hulu, Universal Pictures and most recently Upwork.
A bi-coastal Marketing Maven, Chanel cut her teeth into the industry at WKYC-TV an NBC Affiliate in Cleveland, OH before moving to New York City, where she was responsible for executing National marketing campaigns across Gannett’s portfolio of media platforms, including USA Today. While at Gannett, Chanel managed a $3.5 Million partnership with Pepsi for the Super Bowl XLIV Halftime Show - a first for the company.
After her time in New York City, Chanel moved back to the West Coast to take on the Global Marketing Manager role at Universal Pictures under the Consumer Products & Brand Development division where she oversaw the marketing execution for Illumination Entertainment Franchise Titles including Minions Movie, Despicable Me, The Secret Life of Pets, SING and The Grinch.
From there Chanel continued her career at Hulu where she managed strategy development and execution of large integrated campaigns for Hulu Originals content and culture-led initiatives that helped deepen consumer engagement and drive content views. One of the most significant co-partnerships she brokered end-to-end was the Wu-Tang: An American Saga capsule collection that included Wu-Tang apparel and jewelry with top-tier street wear brands, Mitchell & Ness and Melody Ehsani.
After Hulu, Chanel became the Director of Domestic Brand Marketing at STARZ Entertainment, managing the brand’s #TakeTheLead DEI initiative before pivoting to Upwork where she drove large-scale upper funnel integrated marketing campaigns, including Clios and Webby award winning This is How We Work Now™.
Chanel is an authentic, creative and dynamic brand marketer who is not afraid to take smart risks. She is resourceful and has hybrid knowledge that spans across strategy, branding, and partnerships that have resulted in numerous best-in-class market opportunities for brands.
